    About Me

    Background

today, i can't walk past a piano without playing it. i put my tiny fingers on the keys for the first time when i was 5, my dad taught me the opening theme music to M*A*S*H, and it was a marriage ever since. i spent more time learning other 70's-80's show themes like archie bunker, cheers, ect. i was so captivated by the simplicity of the instrument and how easy it came to me that everything kind of clicked clean into place from there. from writing simple chords to recording brief pieces with an old panasonic tape deck, the skills developed and soon evolved into talent. after i learned how to compose and produce, and soon learned to engineer my work in recording studios. i started my own lab around 20, so recording and producing on my own time came at a later age, but it helped me see that there was something i was actually good at. before long, i was composing music scores for minor 5 minute college films at UMBC for friends who were attending film school there. unfortunately only one of them got released.

i never had the nerve 2 send out my work for my own exposure, until i found talenttrove. i guess i felt that the music wasn't ready for release. perfectionists never experience closure with their own work. in my case i have yet to close out a single project to my own satisfaction.

i'm a passionate musician and i love what i do but i don't consider myself a performer at all. i try to keep my ass where it belongs-in the background, behind the curtain, invisible. i am GUN SCARED of the spotlight. people call it stage fright, but that's putting it mildly. i always choke on stage, get dizzy, and start trembling and shaking when i feel eyes on me...don't know why, but it is what it is. so when i do my thing, i do it behind the scenes.

    Interests

motion picture soundtracking is my crazy pipedream. music for movies is the kind of work i could really enjoy. if i can ever cross that threshold, working and composing soundtrack orchestrations around the horror/thriller film genre would be something i'd love 2 take a crack at.

my dad told me that you can't feed your family on dreams. i hope one day to prove him wrong...

    Goals

to excel and evolve as an artist, and to summon & command my talents at will; to reject their limitations; to identify my hindering flaws and weaknesses, and to finally and forever abandon them so that i can humbly welcome and embrace the struggles and adversities of what is yet to come. to divide and ascend from my unbalanced past to become the man that i should be-strong and vigilant enough to experience struggle, but to do it with humility, free from the burdon of fear. to rise up, without incident and without compromise, so that i can finally accept my destiny-to reclaim my rightful place as the father my son deserves, and patiently awaits.

The short film was shot before 04', it might have gone to a few film festivals...I never did get copy of it though. As well as the bloodless bullfighting in Mexico, did not even get a copy of a photo like they promised. However there was an article and photo placed in a travel magazine a little while back. No big deal I'm going to do some more training and insist i get all copy of video and photos taken.
