Background Information

My name is Kirill Konyaev. I was born on December 28, 1993, in Kingisepp, which is a small suburban town 80 miles away from St. Petersburg, Russia. When I was 5 years old, I first watched Eddie Van Halen on TV, after which my father made me my first guitar without strings. I used to pretend that I play together with Eddie. After my parents realized that I liked music, they put me through music school. I finished the Classic Guitar program in 2006 with distinctions. Throughout my study, I entered various guitar contests and events. In the autumn of 2006, I was admitted into the Center for Aesthetical Development and Education for Children to study Electric Guitar. Since then, I participated in many music events as a solo guitarist. After I completed that program in 2009, I kept playing guitar on my own. Thank you to all of you for leaving your comments with compliments.

Interests

music, guitars, friends, nanotechnology, politics, soccer (watching only), photo manipulation, foreign languages, science, cycle racing

Career Goals

I love shredding on my guitar every morning before getting breakfast. After I come back home from my regular school, I try to impress girls by recording and sharing random solos of my favorite guitarists on YouTube and TalentTrove. However, I would love to get more serious and start collaborating with other rock musicians in the future.
