This contest is open to registered users of TalentTrove.com. If you are not currently registered, you must set up an account with TalentTrove.com in order to participate. TalentTrove.com is a 100% free site and there is absolutely no cost to participate in this or any other contest on our site. Additional restrictions may apply.
To enter, contestants must submit a minimum of one (1) entry that conforms to the unique rules of this contest. Entries that violate any rule may be removed without notice. Should this occur, it is the responsibility of the contestant to submit a new entry before the expiration of the submission period. If the contestant fails to submit a new entry, he or she will no longer be eligible.
All entries must consist of media that is in a file type supported by the TalentTrove.com uploader. All entries must be received through TalentTrove.com during the valid submission period(s) and must be the creation and/or property of the submitting contestant. Entries must not contain any nudity, profanity, or extreme depictions of violence, or be obscene, lewd, discriminatory, or threatening in any way. By entering this contest, all contestants hereby consent (except where prohibited) to the use by TalentTrove of the contestant's name, age, photograph, voice, likeness, and/or image, hometown address, and entry without any further compensation.
Some contests may have multiple rounds in which a percentage of contestants are eliminated at the conclusion of each round. Only those contestants who are not eliminated will be permitted to enter the following round(s). When a new round begins, it is the responsibility of the contestant to submit at least one (1) new entry within the round's designated submission period. Failure to submit a new entry will result in the contestant's removal from the contest.
All contestants must have a TalentTrove.com user icon in which he or she is depicted. Visual entries (videos and images), depending on the nature of the contest, may be required to depict this same individual. All entries must contain non-generic, descriptive titles and a textual description.
TalentTrove.com assumes no responsibility for possible fraud committed by any contestant. While every effort is made to ensure that all submitted entries are actually created by their respective contestants, TalentTrove.com cannot be held liable for actions on the part of the users. TalentTrove.com reserves the right to remove or disqualify any entry at any time at its discretion.
During the contest's voting period, registered users of TalentTrove.com will be able to vote on entries to help select the winner. All voters must be logged in when attempting to vote. If the contest is not capable of running as planned or where the sole judgement of TalentTrove.com concludes that the security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the contest is corrupted, TalentTrove.com reserves the right to disqualify or modify the standings of any entries that violate the rules at its own discretion. Regardless of performance, all contestants are eligible for no more than one (1) prize per contest.
All winners will be contacted by TalentTrove.com via TalentTrove's message system. All winners must respond to the message within a period of fourteen (14) days. Winners may be required to submit proof of identity in order to obtain their prize(s). If a winner fails to respond within fourteen (14) days, is unable to provide proof of identity, or is discovered to have violated any of the contest's rules, the prize will be forfeited and instead awarded to the highest runner-up. TalentTrove.com is not responsible or liable for any prizes that are delayed, damaged, lost, or stolen, nor are there any guarantees or warranties regarding the quality of these prizes. TalentTrove.com reserves the right to change the prize at any time or to offer an alternative of similar value. Prizes are non-transferable. All federal, state, and local tax liabilities are the sole responsibility of the winner(s). International winners are responsible for their own local tariffs and customs duties. TalentTrove.com is not liable for the value added tax (VAT), however it will insure the package and pay for the shipping. Winner(s) will be provided with the tracking information.
By entering this Contest, all contestants must affirm to have read and agree to abide by the terms and conditions of TalentTrove.com, the official contest rules, and the decisions of the judges. TalentTrove.com reserves the right to modify these rules and regulations at any time, at its discretion, and without notice. TalentTrove.com also reserves the right to disqualify any contestant acting in violation of the official rules or found tampering with the entry process, the operation of the contest, or the website. This contest is governed by the laws of the United States and, by entering, all contestants hereby submit to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts located in the United States. Any attempt by a contestant or any other individual to deliberately damage any website related to TalentTrove.com or the contest or undermine the legitimate operation of the contest may be in violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, TalentTrove.com reserves the right to seek damages from this individual to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitations of Liability. TalentTrove.com and each of its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents, are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; printing or other errors; and any entries or mail which are late, lost, delayed, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, mutilated, illegible, or any combination thereof. TalentTrove.com reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the contest in the event that it becomes necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
Release of Liability. By participating, contestants agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless TalentTrove.com and each of its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and their officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from and against any claims made by the contestants or any other third parties related in any way to the operation of this contest, including without limitation, claims of copyright infringement, as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses (whether alleged, threatened, or actual) to any person or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any contest-related activity or participation in this contest.
The user retains the rights to all of his or her media, and by submitting, grants permission to TalentTrove.com to display or use in any promotional material.This is a multiple-round contest. At the conclusion of the 2nd and final round, one (1) grand prizewinner will receive $1000.
- All entries must depict a child no older than 12 years of age.
- All entries must depict a maximum of one (1) child.
- All contestants must either be the legal guardian of the depicted child or have the consent of the child's legal guardian.
Round 1: The submission period is January 25th, 2010 - April 25th, 2010. Contestants are limited to a maximum of one (1) image entry. Voting will take place April 28th, 2010 - May 12th, 2010. After the voting period has concluded, all but 10 contestants will be eliminated.
Round 2 (final round): The submission period for the remaining contestants is May 15th, 2010 - May 25th, 2010. Contestants are limited to a maximum of one (1) video entry. All entries must depict the same child depicted in Round 1 addressing the TalentTrove community (in which the phrase "TalentTrove" is mentioned specifically). If the child is too young to speak, the contestant may address the TalentTrove community in his or her place, however the child must be present in the video. Voting will take place May 28, 2010 - June 11, 2010. After the voting period has concluded, the winner will be selected.
