I Don't Know What is from the CD "Transformations". The lyrics of this song are based on a poem by a 17th century, Carmelite monk named St. John of the Cross. They express the total peace one feels in the experiential presence of God and the loss of interest one experiences toward worldly desires. Cynthia Lugo sings the vocals and puts incredible power into them. The song structure tends toward progressive rock with a touch of Broadway Musical. For more information please visit http://www.DavidcDeal.com or write drde@defnet.com

His favorite instruments are keyboards; however he also enjoys playing acoustic guitar. He currently performs in several bands including a Trans-Siberian Orchestra tribute band named Siberian Solstice. He recently finished a four year stint in a Pink Floyd Tribute Band named One of These Daze. A word from David: I have completed the recording of a concept album entitled Transformations, which is both a spiritual autobiography and hopefully, a spiritual vessel. Transformations makes use of Jazz, Rock, Broadway and Progressive Rock mediums in a concept CD format in the tradition of bands such as YES and Pink Floyd with a touch of Andrew Lloyd Weber. The music attempts to express honest, intense spiritual/emotional experiences spanning a lifetime. They are meant to be heard sequentially for full effect. I enjoy writing songs which emanate from the deeper recesses of the universal human mind.
